Thank you for your continued support of Savannah Animal Hospital. With 2020 behind us, we are looking forward to a healthier 2021. Due to Covid-19 we have experienced our own set of challenges in meeting the needs of our patients while protecting the health of our clients and staff. In order to increase the number of available appointments throughout the day, we will be adjusting our doctors schedule to accommodate our growing patients needs. Effective January 4th, we will be offering emergency services and patient care until midnight Monday through Saturday, and 8pm on Sundays. By transitioning our emergency team to daytime hours, we hope to better serve the needs of our clients and community.

Thank you for all your continued support of Savannah Animal Hospital. The year 2020 has been quite a year of changes and uncertainty. We began the year planning to transition to our online pharmacy called Vets First Choice. We carefully selected this online pharmacy to optimize online pharmaceutical services for you. Vets First Choice (VFC) is directly connected to our product distributor, they offer specialized compounding of medications, and they will offer automatic shipping of products. Due to COVID 19 and the online frenzy we made the decision to delay the transition. However, beginning November 1st we will be fully transferring our online pharmaceutical services to VFC.
We can readily and electronically authorize refills for your medications through our computer system with this company. The medications will be shipped directly to you from them even though you are getting to them through our website.
If you would like to pick up medications in our office, please call the office, select option 3 and if you do not get a live person please leave a message. Approved medications will be ready in 24 hours. If there are questions about the medication you will be called.
We are also excited to announce that beginning November 1, we will also be offering Hills to Home services. This service will allow for shipping of all Hills pet food products to your home. It includes prescription diets, as well as wellness/maintenance diets and treats. If you are interested in this please call the office. Hills can send directly to your home prescription as well as any wellness diets.
