AAHA-Accredited Hospitals: Champions for Excellent Care
Savannah Animal Hospital is an American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA) accredited animal hospital. That means we hold ourselves to a higher standard. Pets are our passion, and keeping them healthy is our #1 priority. At Savannah Animal Hospital, we strive to deliver care for pets with excellence. Your pets deserve nothing less.
In the United States, all human hospitals that serve people with Medicare must be accredited through an accrediting body; they undergo regular reviews and quality checks to ensure they meet standards of quality for every aspect of medical care. However, with animal hospitals choosing to pursue the AAHA-accreditation is voluntary. The accreditation process is rigorous and time-consuming, evaluating approximately 900 standards of veterinary care. Maintaining accreditation requires hospitals to undergo review by veterinary experts every three years. It is well worth the effort in helping to provide an excellent facility for the clients and patients that we serve.
